THE HOUSE
‘A CASA DE PEDRA’ WAS ORIGINALLY A FAMILY HOME, BUT SOON BECAME A PLACE TO WELCOME FRIENDS AND GUESTS IN THE MOST JOYFUL POSSIBLE AWAY.
fully restored a few years ago, a huge family house, where kids summer vacation where spent, walking around the countryside fields and narrow roads, picking wild flowers of spring time and making daisy necklaces and crowns.
a place full of happy memories, happy memories that we now share with you
INTERIOR SPACES
A HOUSE WITH WIDE SPACES AND WITH GREAT NATURAL LIGHT. A MIX OF STONE AND WOOD AND SOME TRADITIONAL TOUCHES TO ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED OF OUR ROOTS.
the house is placed in only 1 floor, with a wide open space with living and dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and connection to the back area where the barbecue is, four bedrooms and two complete bathrooms.
there is also a office with books about the region, as weel as a laundry area.
OUTDOORS
A GARDEN FOR FAMILY GATHERINGS. A POOL AREA WITH A FENCE FOR KIDS SAFETY. A COVER AREA TO HAVE YOUR MEALS AND BARBECUE. A HEN HOUSE FOR FRESH EGGS IN THE MORNING… WHAT ELSE?
for barbecues and outdoor meals, enjoy yourself at the front balcony area.
a closed pool area, with sunbeds and a table for breakfast and a nice happy hour with Vinho Verde.
next to the hen house (pick up your own eggs if you want), there are two swings and a slide! several fruit trees and a vegetable garden for pick up some goods for cooking.

the house is placed only 900m away from a bakery and minimarket
only 3 km driving you will find the main square of Freixo, a small town but very fullfill with facilities (supermarkets, bakery, pharmacy, fishery and butchery, gas station, ATM, and more).
